PCNC pics for Sun 28th February 2010 loaded - 135 images for your enjoyment

After all the halabaloo about getting the pics cleaned and branded, we're finally able to place 135 images from last Sunday's games to its galleries for your enjoyment.

Even with two cameras on location, we just ran out of disk space taking the photos and then there was which images to upload.  There are still a considerable number we just have not posted because they are either of the same person or of the same team. The web gallery is limited in size as well so you can appreciate we had moments deciding on which pics should we post and which do we leave out.  From approximately 1200 pics we've selected this 135 and possibly another 30 later this week.

These are just a small collection from the picasa gallery on the sideboard so please feel free to browse there by simply clicking on an image, finding the correct gallery and then simply scrolling through.

We've tried to give the lower grades a fair go this time but even then we ran out of disk space.  Traversing the active 7 courts is quite an exercise. If your team is not among the images, again please let us know and we'll do what we can to cover them next time.


It's good not only for your the players, but also for your sponsor who never sees anything back from their investment year in year out.  At least this way, they can see that their investment is being productive and perhaps one or two of them will be encouraged to come and spend an entertaining afternoon at the courts.

Near the Hoop would also like to extend its appreciation to Steamships Group of Companies who we understand have allowed the Steamships ladies to access NTH for information provided by us on Netball in PNG.  Steamships have a number of business unit teams participating in the PCNC comp and the exposure for STC should go a long way toward improving the harmony of their female workforce.



We hope others will follow suit.

Just a reminder for those following the PSNA competition.  Their finals series commence this Saturday. Games start at 9:30 in the morning so you'll need to be bright and early to catch those.
