PSNA Draws for this weekend and Position of Teams at end of R2

A big thank you to the PSNA match committee for finally getting the Draws to us this afternoon for this Saturdays Preliminary Finals.

Just in case you were wondering, there are 30 Clubs in the PSNA competition this year and 36 teams participating across five divisions. The finals will be contested in an elimination series over the next two weeks and culminate in the grand finals.

This Saturday 6th March 2010, Teams placed 3rd and 4th will play an elimination round and Minor Premiers will play with 2nd placed teams.

From what we have been able to glean over the last several weeks, this season has been a difficult one for the PSNA. There are several issues emanating from the previous season which caused the finals to be aborted. These are being addressed by Lynn Uvao's executive which will hopefully motivate the clubs for the 2010/2011 season.

"Near the Hoop" will be there this weekend to capture as much of the occasion as possible and urge everybody to support the PSNA in its endeavours to get things rolling.

If your able to, get down to the Courts tomorrow and adopt a team for the finals. The quality of netball is just as good as the PCNC and as it is the finals, the passion will be running high. The first whistle will be early, at 9:30 in fact so check the draws and be at the courts on time.
